The Hamilton Southeastern swim teams swept a dual meet with North Central Thursday on the Royals’ Senior Night.
Southeastern’s boys team won 110-70. The Royals opened the meet with a win in the medley relay, swam by seniors Keegan Streett, Justin Voelker, Thomas Reising and Logan Hess. Reising also won the butterfly and placed a strong second in the 50 freestyle, Streett was first in the backstroke and Voelker won the 500 free.
Junior Matt Truxall led a 1-2-3 finish in the individual medley, with sophomore Charlie Rogers second and freshman Jack Waren third. Sophomore Troy Borrero won diving.
In the girls meet, Southeastern won 121-65. The Royals girls also began the meet by winning the medley relay; the swimmers were Rebecca Ang, Kenndy Fisher, Dabin Jung and Molly Pedersen.
Pedersen would immediately return to the pool and lead a 1-2-3 sweep of the 200 free, with Sloane Gardner placing second and Olivia Kiley third. Pedersen would later win the 100 free and join Bella Goss, Sarah Juffer and Fisher to place first in the 200 free relay, giving her four wins on the night.
Fisher also had four wins, as she was victorious in the 50 free and breaststroke in addition to the relays. Other winners were Hannah Justice in diving, Kaleigh Stivers in the butterfly, Gardner in the 500 free, Ang in the backstroke and the 400 free relay team of Kiley, Gardner, Stivers and Ang.
