The Hamilton Southeastern boys dropped a tough Hoosier Crossroads Conference game Friday at Zionsville, 46-44.
The Eagles led 10-9 after the first quarter. The Royals took control in the second quarter, holding a 24-12 lead during the period. Southeastern led 26-19 at halftime, but Zionsville came back to tie the game at 32-32 by the end of the third quarter. The Eagles outscored the Royals 14-12 in the fourth.
Landon Osswald led Southeastern’s scoring with 11 points. Lucas Weemer collected 10 rebounds to go with eight points, with Kallen Hoeft also scoring eight. Jack Jacobs dished out seven assists. Braeden Totten blocked three shots, with Osswald making two blocks.
The Royals are 0-3 in conference play and 8-8 overall. Southeastern hosts Mount Vernon tonight.
