The Hamilton Southeastern boys lacrosse team got a tremendous win in its first match back from Spring Break, beating Avon 28-1.
A slow start to the game quickly changed into a barrage of goals for the Royals towards the end of the first quarter and continued into the second quarter as well. With a halftime score of 21-1, Southeastern came back in the second half to round out the game.
Multiple players were able to rack in multiple goals with freshman attackman Ryan Kemp leading the way with five goals. The biggest storyline of the game came from the faceoff, as junior faceoff specialist Tony Casserie went 27-4 creating a “make it, take it” feel for most of the game.
The Royals play Carmel on Friday.
