Carmel won an all-county wrestling dual meet Wednesday at Westfield’s CSI Gymnasium.
The Greyhounds were victorious 49-15, taking 10 of the 14 matches. That included five pins for Carmel, starting with Michael Major at 138 pounds; Major got the fall with three seconds left in the first period.
Also winning by pin were Trevor Gallagher at 152, Nate Powell at 170, Vlad Balaban at 220 and Elliott Leonard at 106. Jack Milligan won at 285 by forfeit. Isaac Ward began the meet with a major-decision victory at 132 pounds. Jackson Schmidt, Jackson Elliott and Lito Ledzema all had decision wins.
Westfield’s Eli Frei won the 182-pound match with a pin, while Ike O’Neill, Jonathan Tanner and Chase Camire were all decision winners.
