Carmel gave a battle to Warren Central on Wednesday, but the Warriors ran away with the last four matches and won their dual meet with the Greyhounds 36-21.
Carmel led 21-12 with four matches to go, but Warren won all four of those bouts. Three of the Warriors’ wins were by fall, while the Greyhounds had to forfeit at 145 pounds.
Carmel won six matches, including three by major decision: Jack Eilteljorge at 170 pounds, Cameron Bacon at 195 and Brendan Mattingly at 120. The other Greyhound wins were by regular decision: Nate Frey at 182, Hawkin VanBeynan at 220 and Jack Williams at 285.
The ‘Hounds will host a Triple Dual meet at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
