‘Hounds fall to New Albany

Carmel dropped a home game to New Albany 36-31 Saturday at the Eric Clark Activity Center.
The Bulldogs led 11-5 after the first quarter and 19-10 at halftime. The Greyhounds cut New Albany’s lead to 26-23 after three periods, but the Bulldogs held on in the fourth quarter.
Josh Whack led Carmel with seven points. Peter Suder and Charlie Williams both collected five rebounds.
The Greyhounds are 4-3 and will be off until Thursday, Jan. 2 when they play at Anderson.
