‘Hounds cruise past Bishop Dwenger

Carmel cruised to a 57-33 road victory at Bishop Dwenger on Saturday afternoon.
The Class 4A No. 7 Greyhounds got off to a great start, leading 22-6 after the first quarter. Carmel outscored the Saints in each period, leading 31-14 at halftime and 42-24 after three periods.
Jackson Jannsen made four 3-pointers on his way to 17 points, with Charlie Williams adding 10 points. Brian Waddell collected seven rebounds, with Connor Gioia contributing nine points, five rebounds and five assists. Peter Suder made four steals to go with eight points.
The Greyhounds are 12-5 and play at Hamilton Southeastern on Friday.
