Hopeful spaghetti dinner

Help Hope Family Care Center provide dental care by enjoying a spaghetti dinner.

Hope, which delivers free medical and dental care to those who are uninsured, underinsured and underserved, will host the dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. May 7 at Red Bridge Park. A free-will offering and silent auction will support its dental services.

“The costs of providing professional, trusted care to adults and children in a fully equipped clinic are great and the need continues to grow,” said Mike Jenkins, CEO of the 13-year-old clinic at 270 W. Jackson St. “Our volunteer medical and dental staff cared for 650 patients from Hamilton and surrounding counties last year.”

The Hope team sees medical patients without appointments from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. the first and third Saturday of the month and from 6-9 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesday. Dental patients are seen by appointment only, A $5 donation is requested, although no one is turned away if they are unable to pay.
