HOPE Family Care Center welcomes new executive director

The Board of HOPE Family Care Center, 509 N. Peru St., Cicero, announces that Brian J. Peters, MBA has been named HOPE’s new Executive Director.

Peters will help advance and sustain HOPE’s vital community mission of providing free medical, dental, women’s health, counseling, and related services to uninsured, underinsured, and medically under-served patients from four central Indiana counties. He has served the healthcare field for more than 30 years. His experience and accomplishments make him an expert in health care operations and technology, as well as homecare software development and implementation.

Michael E. Jenkins, founder of HOPE and a well-known community supporter, has filled the Executive Director role on a volunteer basis for more than 20 years. His long commitment to HOPE’s mission has played a crucial role in its development. The people of HOPE are deeply indebted to him for his longstanding leadership and are sincerely grateful that he will continue in his role as President of HOPE’s Board of Directors.

Jenkins will assist Peters in the transition.
