Come hear the classic sounds of Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn and Emmylou Harris as Gold Country Band performs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1, on the northeast lawn of the Hamilton County Courthouse Square in downtown Noblesville.

Hopalong Cassidy look-alike Joe “Hoppy” Sullivan, Cicero, will serve as the guest emcee at String Time on the Square. Hoppy has traveled the world for nearly 30 years playing the part of his childhood hero. Click here for more information on Hoppy Sullivan.

Another special guest for the evening is Addison McMillan. A seventh-grader at Noblesville East Middle School, she is the daughter of Betsy Reason and Charlie McMillan. The former Hamilton County Clogging Champion will perform vocals for Patsy Cline’s “Walking After Midnight” on Saturday, and she will help with the raffle prior to the concert.

This will be McMillan’s encore performance, as she debuted with Gold Country Band at last year’s String Time on the Square. She is an honorary member of the band.

Benefit raffle ticket sales begin at 6 p.m., with a drawing at intermission. The public is invited and encouraged to bring lawn chairs for open seating.

The family-friendly concert series is produced by local non-profit Legacy Keepers Music as a Road Show in cooperation with the Hedgehog Music Showcase.
