The Reporter did the math on the maps accompanying a recent press release about the Home for the Holidays Tour, and we came up with just under 90 miles of Santa driving this weekend. That’s a lot of Claus! A total of 1.4 of those miles were the traditional parade route through downtown Noblesville on Saturday afternoon.
While there were no red-nosed reindeer (probably due to supply chain issues), the Noblesville Street Department did pull out a big red truck to chauffeur Saint Nick around town. By Saint Nick we mean Santa Claus. Our photographer Nik Roberts is a great guy, but he’s not saintly.
If you didn’t see Santa Saturday, fear not, Noblesville, he may be coming to your neighborhood today. The portion of the tour along the parade route was a bit quick for some people’s taste, but Santa is known for being fast. He does hit every house in the world in one night, you know.
