High Frequency Arts looks to invigorate Fishers arts scene

High Frequency Arts (HFA), a space designed to ignite creativity and its linkage to art, announced on Monday the launch of a contemporary art gallery, consulting services, and event and meeting venue. Located in the Downtown Nickel Plate District of Fishers, HFA will open its doors to the public in late December with an open house celebration planned from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, 2019.

Research shows that exposure and engagement in artistic expression unlocks creative energy.  The connection between art and entrepreneurship and art’s role in community and cultural evolution is undeniable. When these elements are combined they generate a ‘higher frequency.’

“Art and culture is part of the fabric of our community and several years ago we set out to create a Fishers that embodied a smart, vibrant and entrepreneurial city,” said Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness. “Today, we look forward to opening the city’s first art gallery, High Frequency Arts, which not only brings high quality, diverse art offerings but integrates entrepreneurship and fosters future generations of artists here in our downtown area.”

“Nickel Plate Arts is very excited to welcome High Frequency Arts to the Fishers community. This gallery will be a vital addition to the city’s recently designated Cultural District and fills an important gap for artists and art patrons alike,” said Alithir McGill, Executive Director of Nickel Plate Arts. “I am personally excited about the philosophy and dedication to helping artists grow and prosper as entrepreneurs.”

HFA can assist with everything from gallery floor sales to sourcing and procuring artworks, art project management and for those who prefer to temporarily lease or rotate an art subscription program. The gallery layout itself is versatile and high-tech, able to host pop-up events and creative programming for the public to experience and those interested in igniting creativity and being infused around art, private meeting and event space.

“I’m an entrepreneur at heart and blessed to have career experiences centered around operations and leading people and culture-centric strategy, but over the last few years, I began exploring my personal interest more by immersing myself in art, it led me to a deeper cognitive understanding of the power, influence and higher frequency it can ignite within us,” said Jill Lehman, Owner of High Frequency Arts. “The objective of HFA is to be a conduit, bringing together artist with art lovers as well as the art novice in a space and with services that are engaging, inspiring and innovative. If we do this right we help invigorate interest in art, our clients find art that they love, ignite inner creativity, tune-up spaces and support art careers.”

HFA partners include local and nationally based artists, entrepreneurs, community art councils, chefs, sommeliers, authors, professional speakers and coaches, training organizations, event planners and interior designers to bring together a variety of upcoming programs and events at the Fishers gallery.
