Herb Alpert returning to Carmel with new Tijuana Brass

After a sold-out 2022 performance at Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, Grammy-winning trumpeter and recording artist Herb Alpert is returning with a new incarnation of his legendary brass combo to celebrate his biggest album.

Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at the Palladium, 1 Carter Green, Carmel. Tickets from $35 go on sale at 10 a.m. today, March 7, at TheCenterPresents.org, by phone at (317) 843-3800, or in person at the Palladium’s Fifth Third Bank Box Office. The Drewry Simmons Vornehm Jazz Series event is the first concert to be announced from the 2025-2026 Center Presents Season sponsored by Allied Solutions.

Alpert is touring this year with his new six-member Tijuana Brass to mark the 60th anniversary of the iconic album Whipped Cream & Other Delights. The 90-minute stage production features audience interaction, projections of classic photos and video from throughout Alpert’s career, and a parade of hits including “The Lonely Bull,” “Spanish Flea,” “A Taste of Honey,” “Mexican Shuffle,” “Tijuana Taxi,” “This Guy’s In Love With You,” “Zorba the Greek,” “Rise,” and more.

Alpert’s legacy includes five No. 1 hits, nine Grammy Awards, 15 Gold albums, 14 Platinum albums, and sales of 72 million records worldwide. He also co-founded A&M Records and produced recordings for artists including Sergio Mendes, Stan Getz, and Gato Barbieri.

    We saw him in Augusta, Ga. Amazing!! I was raised in DC hubby in SC. But we both love his music!
