The Hoosier Crossroads Conference wrestling meet took place Friday night Avon, and it was dominated by the conference’s two Hendricks County schools.
Brownsburg won the meet with a team score of 263.5 points, with the Orioles scoring 238.5. Westfield was the highest-placing Hamilton County team, taking third with 150.5. Fishers was fifth with 105, Hamilton Southeastern sixth with 87.5 and Noblesville seventh with 85.5.
Westfield had one champion: Senior Kyle Saez took the 170-pound match with a 6-4 overtime win over Brownsburg senior Thierry Jean-Baptiste. Southeastern also got one champion, in overtime as well: Senior Crae Kunkleman edged out Brownsburg junior Dorian Keys 2-1.
