Local Congressional candidate Beth Henderson has received an endorsement from Madison County Republican Party Chairman Russ Willis.

Henderson

“I recognized she has a broad conservative perspective of the issues facing our country that affect all of us,” Willis said. “I have found her agenda is not a selfish personal one, but an agenda to keep America a place that my grandchildren will be able to live in and still have the freedoms I have enjoyed.”

Willis says he recognizes that Henderson doesn’t limit her concerns to just one or two but a cross section of issues. When considering other candidates, Willis says he respects that Henderson has a broad experience set as a registered nurse, successful business owner and a background and business in the agriculture industry.

“I expect my Congressperson to represent the residents of the 5th District with strong conservative, moral values, stand up to those who want to destroy our freedom and push our country into socialism,” Willis said. “I am convinced Beth Henderson is that person. Beth is listening now and will continue to listen to all of us when she is elected and goes to Washington.”

Willis has been involved in politics for over 39 years. He is a former Anderson City Councilman, Precinct Committeeman and has managed several local and state political campaigns. Willis is a GM / UAW retiree and President of the Madison County Lincoln Club.

Henderson has proudly lived and worked in the 5th District since 1990. She is a successful business owner, registered nurse, healthcare advocate, farmer, job creator and lifelong Republican who says she understands the needs of Hoosiers.
