The Hamilton Heights wrestling team won the Kokomo Super 6 last Saturday at the Wildkats’ Memorial Gym.
The Huskies opened the tournament with a huge dual victory, edging out previously unbeaten Western 33-32. Heights then cruised past Kokomo 49-24, Harrison 69-9, Logansport 75-6 and Hobart 75-6.
Evan Tilton went 5-0 at 182 pounds, pinning all five opponents and remaining unbeaten on the year at 11-0. Josh Brown was 5-0 at 220 and Josh Cain was 5-0 at 145. Jaylan Pugh finished 4-0 at 132 pounds.
The Huskies are 10-1 overall and will wrestle a dual meet at Bishop Chatard on Wednesday, then compete in another Super 6 at Union County this weekend.
