The community is invited to join the faculty and staff at Hamilton Heights for a ceremonial groundbreaking at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18 next to the playground on the southeast side of Hamilton Heights Primary School. The event will serve as the official kickoff for several new construction projects set to take place in the near future including additions to the future elementary and middle schools, high school track, field and tennis renovations and north vestibule addition to the high school to name a few.
“This special ceremony is our way to share with district families and members of the community some of the great things that are taking place at Heights as we work to advance student achievement while maximizing operational efficiencies,” said Dr. Derek Arrowood, Superintendent, Hamilton Heights School Corporation, who credits strong leadership, vision, planning and a collaborative team effort to be in this position to bring the district new, state-of-the-art facilities.
“This represents the next round of our enhancements through our well-planned Project Vision process designed to create optimal learning environments for our students and staff,” added Peggy Jackson, Project Vision Director for Hamilton Heights School Corporation. “We are a small school with big dreams as we work to ensure our district remains a destination for families with children early childhood through 12th grades.”
