Heights tennis falls to Lebanon

Hamilton Heights dropped its regular-season finale at Lebanon on Saturday 5-0.
All of the matches were decided in straight sets, with No. 3 singles Ben Wolfgang extending his opponent to 6-2, 6-4. The Huskies junior varsity team lost 7-2, with Sam Dodson and Dax Webb getting wins.
“It’s sad to see this season come to an end for our JV guys; I was really enjoying how well they all were playing,” said Heights coach Justin Davis. “It was great for them to play an opponent like Lebanon, they were skilled from top to bottom. I hope their team and my team continue to play tennis and grow throughout the offseason. Same with my Varsity guys, but luckily we have a little more work to do before they go onto the offseason. It will be exciting to see how we compete as underdogs on Wednesday, regardless of our Sectional Draw.”
The Huskies ended the regular season 4-9, with the JV finishing 4-4.
