Hamilton Heights moved to 3-0 on the season by winning a tough game at Frankton 45-42 on Tuesday.
The Huskies, ranked No. 6 in the ICGSA Class 3A poll, broke out of an 8-8 tie after the first quarter to take a 21-16 lead by halftime. Heights was hot from outside during the half, with Katie Brown making three 3-pointers. Camryn Runner also hit a 3. The Eagles came back to tie the game at 32-32 by the end of the third quarter, but Heights outscore Frankton 13-10 in the fourth.
Runner finished with 15 points, while Brown scored 14 points. Brown hit another triple in the third quarter to give her four 3s for the game. Kaylee Rhoton made three 3s for nine points.
The Huskies return home on Friday to host Noblesville, the No. 2 team in 4A and the No. 4 team in the IBCA one-class rankings.
