Heights’ Mason finalist for Indiana Principal of the Year

Jarrod Mason, Hamilton Heights High School principal, was among 12 high school principals recognized by the Indiana Association of School Principals (IASP) at its annual Fall Professional Conference in Indianapolis last week.

Mason was selected as the 2018 District 5 High School Principal of the Year. District 5 is located in central Indiana and is comprised of Boone, Hamilton, Howard, Madison, Miami and Tipton counties.

District High School Principals of the Year are elected by their peers. One high school principal is honored from each of the 12 districts. From these 12 District High School principal winners, one is chosen as the 2018 State High School Principal of the Year. Bruce Jennings, Bremen High School, was selected as the 2018 Indiana High School Principal of the Year.

The Indiana Association of School Principals is a not-for-profit, professional association serving more than 2,800 building-level administrators in Indiana.
