Heights kids bring “Lion King” to stage this Friday

The students at Hamilton Heights Elementary School will be performing Disney’s Lion King KIDS this Friday, May 25 at the Hamilton Heights High School auditorium. The live production, directed by Marianne Collar, will bring the African Savannah to life on the high school stage with Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle … and back again, in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale.

Based on the Broadway production and the 1994 Disney film, The Lion King KIDS cast includes Andenet Wolfgang as Simba; Joely Hardacre as Nala; Brinley Flaherty as Timon; Adrianna Kauffman as Pumbaa; and Jessa Steffen as Uncle Scar.

Show times are 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Hamilton Heights High School is located at 25802 State Road 19, Arcadia.
