The Hamilton Heights girls basketball team won the Class 3A Bellmont regional Saturday, beating Norwell 44-40.
It was a back-and-forth game, with the Huskies leading 23-20 at halftime. The Knights came back to lead 33-31 after three quarters, but Heights outscored Norwell 13-7 in the fourth quarter to win its second regional title, 10 years after winning the first one in 2013.
Camryn Runner led the Huskies with 25 points. Ella Hickok scored 14 points, followed three from Kaylee Rhoton and two from Kassidy Schakel.
Heights is 20-5 and will play Twin Lakes in the first game of the 3A North semi-state Saturday at La Porte.
