Heights geared up for tonight’s Winter Homecoming vs. Tipton

Students and staff at Hamilton Heights High School have been enjoying a week of spirit-filled activities leading up to tonight’s Homecoming game. Class Homecoming themes are Seniors, Jungle; Juniors, Space; Sophomores, Desert; and Freshman, Sea.

Monday was Pajama Day (Staff: Workout); Tuesday, Senior Citizen/Baby-Infant; USA Day; Wednesday, Anything but a Backpack. Also on Wednesday, the Honor Society partnered with Versiti to host a community blood drive. Thursday was Throwback Thursday (Seniors, ‘80s; Juniors, ‘70s; Sophomores, early 2000s; and Freshmen, cavemen) with a Talent Show hosted by the Drama Department.

Today, everyone is showing their Husky pride with Orange and White Day. The annual Seniors vs. Faculty basketball game begins at 2 p.m. today, followed by a pep rally. The homecoming dance is set for 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29 at the Student Activity Center.

Hamilton Heights Huskies take on the Tipton Blue Devils beginning with the junior varsity game at 6 p.m. Varsity halftime festivities begin with the Hamilton Heights High School Student Government honoring alumni from the classes of 1971, 1972, 1981, 1982, 1991, 1992, 2001, 2002, 2011 and 2012. The official crowning of the 2022 Winter Homecoming King and Queen will conclude the break.
