Heights COVID update from Superintendent Arrowood

By DR. DEREK ARROWOOD

Hamilton Heights Superintendent

This week we received 17 positive test confirmations for four high school, six middle school, five elementary school students, and two staff members. We have followed our established protocols as outlined in our Re-Entry Plan and continue to work in collaboration with and under the guidance of our local and state health partners. We send our best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.

Hamilton County remains at the Orange Advisory Level (2.5) indicating a high spread with the recommendation to increase self-protective measures. Our local health officials continue to emphasize the importance of vaccination, boosters, and other prevention strategies needed to protect against COVID-19 and the flu.

Thank you for being mindful of the impact we each have on the health, safety, and well-being of others and continuing to follow good health and safety practices in this season of celebration.
