The Hoosier Crossroads Conference has announced its awards and all-HCC teams for the Fall 2020 season, as posted on its website.
In football, seven Westfield players received First Team All-HCC honors, this after the Shamrocks won the conference championship with a 7-0 record. Cole Grady, Micah Hauser, Bronson Kooy, Kyle Pape, Mason Piening, Carson Voorhis and Popeye Williams were named to the First Team, with Seth Martin and Reid Scheppers on the Second Team.
Hamilton Southeastern had six players on the First Team: Brandon Gonzalez, John McCall, JT Mutchner, Mikah Phillips, Jake Robeson and Loudon Sundling. Jack Greer and Nate Haas earned Second Team honors.
Fishers received four First Team selections: Seth Dunnuck, Landon Morris, Jeffrey Simmons and Jonah Van Der Kamp. Lucas Prewitt and Billy Reiter were named to the Second Team.
Noblesville had three players receive First Team honors: Grayden Addison, Jake Long and Drew Page. Sam Steinhofer and Skyler Tolliver earned places on the Second Team. Addison received another honor earlier this week, as he won the Mr. Football Position Award for punters.
Westfield’s Jake Gilbert was named Coach of the Year. After their perfect HCC season, the Shamrocks made it to the Class 6A state championship game, the third time since 2013 that Westfield played in the state finals.
VOLLEYBALL
The following county volleyball players were named to the First Team All-HCC:
Fishers – Jada Allen, Camryn Haworth.
Hamilton Southeastern – Delaney Garner, Lauren Harden, Carly Mills.
Noblesville – Rose Crist.
Westfield – Kenzie Daffinee, Ellary Detamore.
Second Team All-HCC players are Samantha Perdue and Emily Waldrop from Fishers, Taylor Lauri from Southeastern, Ella Peter from Noblesville, and Peighton Isley and Katie Sweet from Westfield.
Royals coach Jason Young was named Coach of the Year, leading Southeastern to an unbeaten conference championship and a sectional title.
GIRLS SOCCER
Noblesville, the conference and Class 3A state champion, had four players receive First Team All-HCC honors for girls soccer. They are Ava Bramblett, Miss Soccer Jenna Chatterton, Sara Kile and Makenna Maloy. Jacey Hoopingarner and Grace Taskey both received Second Team honors.
Fishers had three First Team players: Kaysey Castro, Jordan Imes and Aubrey Robertson, with Sami Bird and Ali Macbeth earning places on the Second Team. Southeastern’s Molly Harris and Lydia Self also received First Team honors, while Maddy Bellaver and Olivia Smith were named to the Second Team. Westfield’s Lauren Hamlet and Amiah Sprunge earned places on the First Team, with Paige O’Connell receiving Second Team honors.
Noblesville’s Mike Brady and Westfield’s Hannah Eggert received Coach of the Year honors.
BOYS SOCCER
The Noblesville boys soccer team finished as conference champion, and had four players earn First Team honors: Palmer Ault, Drew Barnes, Spencer Holland and Gabe Ingle. Drew Cochran and Brayden Doll both received Second Team honors.
Hamilton Southeastern had three players named to the First Team: Parker Gopsill, Luke Lonneman and Isa Sayeed. Nate Weaver and Neel Wetzel earned places on the Second Team.
Westfield’s two players on the First Team are David Green and Ben Wallace, with Declan Wheeler and Ellis Douthit receiving places on the Second Team. Fishers’ Noah Reinhart earned a place on the First Team, with Rodrigo Dominguez getting Second Team honors.
Noblesville’s Ken Dollaske was named Coach of the Year.
OTHER COACHES OF THE YEAR
Three county coaches were named as Coaches of the Year in the HCC. Southeastern’s Joe Golden won for both boys and girls cross country, Westfield’s Trevor Neu won for girls golf and Southeastern’s Kirk Webber won for boys tennis.
