Sheridan pulled out an important Hoosier Heartland Conference win at Tri-Central on Saturday by the score of 46-42.
It was a close game throughout, with the Blackhawks ahead 26-25 at halftime and 32-31 after three quarters. Sheridan outscored the Trojans 14-11 in the fourth period to clinch the victory.
Heather Barker led the ‘Hawks with 14 points, while Jillian O’Flaherty drained three 3-pointers to score nine points. Olivia Raines pulled 11 of Sheridan’s 30 rebounds, with Holly Barker collecting seven and Heather Barker grabbing five. Allie Delph dished out five assists.
The Blackhawks are 3-2 in conference play and 7-4 overall. Sheridan will play at Western on Tuesday.
