Sheridan gave itself a big challenge on Saturday afternoon, as the Class 2A Blackhawks traveled to 4A Seymour for a game at the Owls’ renowned gymnasium.
Seymour won the defensive game 38-32. The Owls led 12-8 after the first quarter and 26-22 at halftime. Sheridan continued to play even with Seymour in the second half, but were unable to catch up, as the Owls held the ‘Hawks to four points in the fourth quarter.
Silas DeVaney led Sheridan with 14 points, with Kyle Eden contributing 10 points. Corbin Murray had four rebounds.
Sheridan is 11-7 and will return home on Friday to host Frankton.
