Sheridan fell to Clinton Prairie 48-34 Saturday in the championship game of the Class 2A Fountain Central sectional.
The Gophers outscored the Blackhawks in each period, leading 16-13 after the first quarter and 24-15 at halftime. Prairie then went up 34-22 at the end of three.
Emma Went scored seven points for Sheridan, with Allie Delph and Chaney Smith both adding six points. Riley Reed and Lillie Dickerson both scored five points.
The Blackhawks finished their season 10-5.
