‘Hawks boys lose tough game at Eastern

Sheridan lost a tough Hoosier Heartland Conference game at Eastern on Friday, by the score of 37-35.
The Comets led 12-8 after the first quarter and 21-14 at halftime. The Blackhawks came back in the third period to tie the game at 28-28, but Eastern got two more points in the fourth.
Nick Burnell reached double-double status with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Caleb Duke added 11 points, and Jesse Kolb collected five rebounds and handed out four assists.
Sheridan is 1-1 in the HHC and 3-2 overall. The ‘Hawks are back home on Tuesday to host North Montgomery.
