Sheridan scored a big win and Trey Page reached a big milestone Friday, Feb. 20 at Larry Hobbs Hall.
The Blackhawks beat North Montgomery 59-31. Sheridan outscored the Chargers in all four quarters, starting with a 10-7 lead after the first period. Devon Hamilton scored six points in the opening period.
The Hawks increased their lead to 25-13 by halftime, then took further control in the third quarter, adding 17 points for a 42-20 advantage.
Page scored six points in the third and added six more in the fourth, including a basket that pushed him over the 1,000-point mark. Page finished the game with 18 points.
Hamilton scored 14 points, while Jax Peerman added 11 points and dished out eight assists.
Sheridan collected 33 rebounds as a team, with Chance Spencer pulling seven. Desh Donathan and Hamilton each made six rebounds while John Crowder had five. Hamilton dished out four assists.
The Blackhawks dropped a high-scoring game at Benton Central 86-76 on Monday. The Bison led 18-11 after one quarter and 39-22 at halftime. Sheridan kept fighting, pouring in 33 points in the fourth quarter.
Page finished with 25 points, while Hamilton scored 24. Donathan contributed 11 points and pulled eight rebounds. Peerman handed out six assists, while Hamilton also made four assists and four rebounds.
Sheridan is 17-4 and hosts Traders Point Christian on Thursday to finish the regular season.
