Hamilton County is updating its Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan (MHMP). This federally required plan helps identify natural hazards, assess risks, and develop strategies to reduce damage and protect residents during disasters.
The public’s input is needed. A hazard assessment session will take place from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5 at the Fall Creek Township Trustee’s Office, 11595 Brooks School Road, Fishers. This is a great opportunity to share your experiences, voice concerns, and help shape the county’s emergency preparedness strategies.
Your participation is important, and you can make Hamilton County a safer and more resilient place. For more information, call the Hamilton County Emergency Management Office at (317) 770-3381.
