Downtown Noblesville came alive on Saturday, June 14, as the community gathered for the largest HATCH Fest yet, a celebration of Hamilton County, Arts, Technology, Craft, and Heritage, that continues to grow in size and impact.
Vendors braved heavy rain as they set up on the Logan Street Bridge and around the square, but the sun soon came out and turned it into a beautiful day. The 2025 event brought together more than 2,000 attendees, 90 vendors, and five local entertainment acts for a day full of creativity, culture, and community connection.
Organized by Noblesville Creates and in partnership with the national Children’s Entrepreneur Market and St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, this year’s HATCH Fest expanded to include the Logan Street Bridge, allowing for more vendors and foot traffic across downtown. The standout feature of the 2025 event was the impressive showing of youth entrepreneurs: 31 participated, giving local kids and teens the opportunity to run their own businesses and showcase their talents. Notably, this was the first Children’s Entrepreneur Market event held in the country, marking a milestone moment for both the national program and the Noblesville community.
In total, the event featured:
- 60 creative entrepreneur vendors
- 31 youth-run arts businesses
- 5 partner exhibitors
- 5 performances, including music and readings throughout the day (sponsored by Pulte Homes Indianapolis)
- Hands-on STEM demos from local robotics teams
In addition to celebrating arts and innovation, HATCH Fest honored Juneteenth with three public readings of the Emancipation Proclamation by local community member Edan Evans de Rosiere. Guests also enjoyed live music performances by Geoff Davis, Ivan the Gem, and blues duo Scrapper & Skelton.
One of the most anticipated traditions, the St. Michael’s Strawberry Festival, delivered again this year, selling more than 1,500 strawberry shortcake tickets throughout the day.
The festival also made a powerful economic impact:
- Estimated $55,900 spent in downtown Noblesville by attendees
- Generated $33,119 in household income
- Contributed $2,730 in local government income
“From young entrepreneurs and artists to families enjoying strawberry shortcake and live music, this year’s HATCH Fest was truly a celebration of what makes Hamilton County special,” Noblesville Creates Executive Director Aili McGill said. “We’re proud to create a space that uplifts creativity, heritage, and community, and the results speak for themselves.”
