The Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank (HCHFB) recently received a $15,000 grant from the Hamilton County Community Foundation, a CICF affiliate, to support the Food Bank as it prepares for the future.

The Food Bank’s vision is that every resident in Hamilton County will have access to healthy, nutritious food.

“Over our 15-year history, HCHFB has grown from serving four pantries in its first year to providing food to 32 entities in its last fiscal year and networking with many more pantries, programs, and providers,” HCHFB Executive Director Anita Hagen said. “Along with this rapid growth comes with a need for growth in our own infrastructure both in facility needs and communications. The support of the Hamilton County Community Foundation enables us to fully address these infrastructure needs and the immediate community impact of these facility and marketing activities will make for a stronger Food Bank for all of the local Hamilton County communities now and in the future.”
