Hamilton Southeastern Schools has announced Ryan Taylor as the new Executive Director of Staff and Student Services. Taylor’s appointment was officially approved during the Board of School Trustees’ regular meeting on Wednesday evening, marking an addition to the school district’s leadership team.
With a distinguished career spanning education and school safety, Taylor brings a wealth of experience. Notably, he served as Vice President at Safe School Solutions, a division of Safe Hiring Solutions, where he contributed to the areas of sales, marketing, and product development.
Nevertheless, Taylor’s most relevant experience comes from his extensive tenure within Hamilton Southeastern Schools. He began his educational journey as a classroom teacher in 2002, and over the years, he transitioned into school leadership. In 2018, he took on the role of Director of Staff and Student Services.
Upon his appointment, Taylor expressed his enthusiasm.
“I am very excited to be returning to the school community I have called ‘home’ for more than two decades, and I look forward to continuing to serve our students and staff,” Taylor said.
Taylor earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and later achieved a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Ball State University.
“We are confident that Ryan Taylor’s extensive experience and dedication to the safety and well-being of both staff and students at HSE will contribute significantly to the continued success of the school district,” Interim Superintendent Dr. Matt Kegley said.
The role of Staff and Student Services has been vacant since late August when Assistant Superintendent Kim Lippe accepted a principalship at a neighboring school district. Taylor’s first day on the job will be Friday, Oct. 13.
