Hamilton Heights dropped a close game on the road Tuesday at Rushville, by the score of 40-37.
The Huskies led 10-8 after one quarter and 20-16 at halftime. Tillman Etchison scored five points in the opening period, with Dreydin Serna adding six in the second. Heights led 32-29 after three quarters, with John Irion scoring seven points, but the Lions outscored the Huskies 11-5 in the fourth to get the win.
Serna scored 12 points, with Irion totaling 11 and Etchison adding 10 points. Irion collected eight rebounds while Etchison pulled five. Landen Scheiber made five steals and Tyler Champion dished out four assists.
The Huskies are 9-13. Heights added a game to its schedule; the Huskies will play Friday at Rensselaer Central to finish the regular season.
