The Hamilton Heights boys basketball team will host the Hamilton Heights Husky Alumni Basketball Game on Saturday, Jan. 6.
The game is scheduled for 3 p.m., and will be part of a day of basketball at the Husky Dome. Heights will play a regular game against Twin Lakes that evening, with a 6:30 p.m. junior varsity start.
All alumni who graduated from Hamilton Heights and completed at least one full varsity season with the Huskies are encouraged to attend. There is a $10 participation fee, which includes admission to the JV and varsity games, a commemorative T-shirt and a meal following the alumni games.
The proceeds will go towards the Hamilton Heights boys basketball program. In addition, the Huskies will be selling their up-to-date Basketball Record Book and Commemorative Gym Floor plaques for anyone interested.
“We are extremely proud of our basketball tradition here at Hamilton Heights,” said Huskies coach Chad Ballenger in a flyer with information about the alumni game. “We feel it is particularly important to share our rich basketball tradition with our current players and fans. We look forward to bringing back as many of our past players, managers, cheerleaders and coaches as possible. It will be an honor to recognize all former Hamilton Heights players, managers, cheerleaders and coaches prior to the tip-off of the varsity game that night.”
Those who are interested in playing and/or attending the game should contact Ballenger at cballenger@mail.hhsc.k12.in.us. Cheerleaders should contact Amanda Engle at aengle@mail.hhsc.k12.in.us
