The Hamilton County Young Republicans want to thank everyone who showed up for the annual meeting. HCYR is excited about recruiting about a half dozen enthusiastic new members Wednesday night. Officers were elected. Victor McCarty was elected president. Eric Moeller will be Vice President. Adam Aasen will be treasurer and Matt Kavanaugh will be secretary. HCYR also collected dozens of toys for the Toy Drive to benefit The Villages, an annual event hosted by Donatello’s Italian Restaurant to help children in the foster care system.
