The Indiana Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group recently named Hamilton County Tourism as one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana.
The statewide survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in Indiana, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce and businesses.
President and CEO of Hamilton County Tourism Brenda Myers said the work culture is one of service to community but also service to fellow employees.
“We encourage our team to not only be outwardly focused in work but also to provide cross-team and cross-platform support internally,” Myers said.
Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Indiana, which measured workplace policies, practices, philosophy and systems and demographics. It also included an employee survey to measure employee experience. Best Companies Group managed the registration, survey process and analyzed the data.
“This designation is an acknowledgement that we are a place where our team can thrive alongside our flourishing communities,” said Tina Rodgers, assistant director of resources for Hamilton County Tourism. “We take pride in the recognition.”
An awards dinner is set for Thursday, May 3 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. Finalists will be published in the May-June issue of the Indiana Chamber’s BizVoice® magazine. For more information on the Best Places to Work in Indiana program, visit BestPlacestoWorkIN.com.
