On Monday, Oct. 24, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) will welcome the ABC Prep Academy to its campus for a unique first aid educational opportunity in partnership with the Hamilton County Health Department.
HCSO recognizes the importance of having on the job skills to render aid in the event of a medical emergency on a job site or even in the home.
Health Education Specialist Jim Ginder will teach approximately 80 students Adult CPR/First Aid and Stop the Bleed. After the classes are complete, the ABC Prep Academy will build obstacles and training props for the HCSO ERU (Emergency Response Unit).
This is a great way to reach out to the community and engage with young minds in a fantastic way to promote education, foster discussions, and share information. By encouraging open discussions, addressing questions, and providing valuable information, this can help to inspire and educate the younger generation and the wider community.
