Saturday, May 13, was the 31st annual Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, and Hamilton County certainly delivered.

All the food that was donated locally has been distributed to food pantries in Hamilton County.  Across Noblesville, Fishers, Westfield, and Carmel, over 51,968 pounds of food was donated from this generous community. That equates to 43,307 meals – all coming at a time of year where much of the food is being purchased by food pantries and food banks to keep up with the need.

Thank you to everyone who donated to the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. Thank you to the National Association of Letter Carriers Union 888 and all the postal workers who picked up and carried all the donated food. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped fold bags and helped load and unload the donated food on the day of the Food Drive.
