Hamilton County resident launches incubator for emerging nonprofits

Hamilton County resident and Founder of Amplify Indy, Harrison Painter, has partnered with non-profit COFFE (Community Outreach for Financial Education) to create the Amplify Hope Program, a competitive incubator for social entrepreneurs and emerging non-profits.

The Amplify Hope Program is a 10-month training platform with curriculum based on financial literacy, sustainability, board development, marketing and more. The program is currently being hosted at Collaborate 317, a 25,000 square-foot co-working space located on Indy’s east side. They will also host events and trainings around Hamilton County in 2018.

“Our focus is to create massive positive social impact in central Indiana,” said Painter, “and this partnership allows us to give Amplify Hope members the tools needed to innovate and serve in a purpose-driven ecosystem.”

Amplify Hope has accepted 50 nonprofit professionals from all over central Indiana into the program. The members participate in weekly trainings, bi-weekly mastermind sessions and monthly accountability groups. They have nine monthly challenges to meet and a competitive fundraiser to participate in. The program caps off with the Amplify Indy Awards in October 2018. This program has been self-funded by the founders, but they are seeking grants and corporate sponsorship opportunities to fill in the gaps.

“We want the Amplify Hope Program to impact thousands of lives in Indiana,” said COFFE CEO Josh Bach. “This group of 50 selfless leaders has made a commitment to serving others, and we have committed to giving them an environment that will help them reach their goals.”
