Kelley scored a two-day total of 153, finishing the 36 holes in a tie for first place with Middlebury’s Alex Reschly. The two went to a playoff, which Kelley won on the second hole.
“I played fine last week,” said Kelley. She said the courses at French Lick played difficult, but she was able to overcome that, making seven birdies for the tournament.
“Getting up and down when you missed a green was pretty hard, but I think I hit the ball pretty well,” said Kelley. “And I think that ultimately put me out in front.”
Carmel’s Michaela Headlee won the Girls 18 division, carding a two-day 146 and finishing 10 strokes ahead of second place. Headlee totaled eight birdies during the tournament.
