The Indiana Department of Workforce Development (DWD) has released labor statistics for cities, towns with a population of more than 25,000 people. Carmel and Fishers lead the county with the lowest unemployment rate of 2.5 percent. The State of Indiana’s unemployment rate is 4.1 percent, while the national rate is 5.4 percent, both of which are seasonally adjusted.
