As the ultimate celebration of 2023, the Hamilton County Bicentennial Commission will hold the Bicentennial Bash to round out an incredible year of 200th anniversary happenings. This free, open-house style event is family-friendly and designed to celebrate all that Hamilton County has to offer.
The event will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3 at Ivy Tech Hamilton County, 300 N. 17th St., Noblesville.
Here is some of what will be available:
- Free food
- Live music
- Short film commemorating the Bicentennial year
- Free raffle – to get more tickets, bring canned goods to the event benefiting the Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank
- Art show in partnership with Nickel Plate Arts that includes commissioned works from the Bicentennial book, “200 Years of Change: Celebrating Hamilton County, Indiana”
- Displays from non-profits around the county, many of whom hosted Bicentennial events
- Fun photo opportunities
- Limited-edition merchandise including the Bicentennial book
- Free giveaways

The Hamilton County Bicentennial Commission was established by the Hamilton County Board of Commissioners as the official oversight agency for the 200th anniversary of the county in 2023.
