New LinkedIn, Instagram accounts aim to keep the public informed . . .
Hamilton County has added two new social media accounts. The community can now follow county government on Instagram and LinkedIn.

“A picture paints a thousand words,” said County Commissioner Mark Heirbrandt. “And the picture we can paint about the state of Hamilton County is a beautiful one. We look forward to utilizing Instagram as a way to share more ‘moments’ and connect with a younger audience.”
The county’s new LinkedIn account will feature employee accolades, job openings and election news.
“LinkedIn is a logical place to share the ‘business’ of county government,” Heirbrandt said. “So much of what we do in government affects the day-to-day of local businesses, business owners and employees. Plus, LinkedIn is one of the most effective ways to recruit new talent.”
Hamilton County already has Facebook and Twitter accounts. You can find all four social media accounts under the user name Hamilton County, Indiana.
