Guerin falls to New Castle

Guerin Catholic dropped a 15-8 game at New Castle on Friday.
The Golden Eagles scored the first two runs of the game in the top of the first inning, with Bennett Ely getting home on a passed ball and Jake Andriole scoring on a wild pitch. The Trojans then took the lead with four runs in the bottom of the first and held it for the remainder of the game.
Andriole hit a two-run home run in the fourth inning, which resulted in Ely’s second run of the game.
Guerin Catholic is 3-3 for the season and plays at Sheridan on Monday.
