Guerin Catholic picked up a win at Park Tudor 44-33 on Wednesday.
The Golden Eagles blasted off to a 20-6 lead after the first quarter; Ava Bills scored seven points and Rachel Behrle hit two 3-pointers. The Panthers came back in the second period to cut GC’s lead to 25-21 by halftime.
But the Golden Eagles held on and led 32-26 after the third period, with Caroline Ford scoring five points. A 12-point fourth quarter clinched the game for Guerin Catholic.
Ford finished with 12 points, while Bills scored 11 points.
The Golden Eagles are 9-6 and host Bishop Chatard Friday in a Circle City Conference girls-boys doubleheader.
