Guerin Catholic dropped a tough game at New Palestine on Tuesday, falling to the Dragons 67-64.
New Palestine led 18-14 after one quarter. The Golden Eagles took over in the second period, scoring 19 points to take a 33-28 halftime lead. Guerin Catholic led 36-28 to begin the third quarter, but the Dragons came back to go up 47-45 by the end of the period, then edged out the Golden Eagles in the fourth.
Three Guerin Catholic players scored in double figures. Lucas Parker threw in three 3-pointers on his way to 19 points. Kamea Chandler had 16 points and five assists, while Robert Sorensen added 14 points. Josh Holba pulled five rebounds.
The Golden Eagles are 12-8 and play Thursday at Indianapolis Washington.
