Guardian Angel Hospice celebrates 15 years serving Central Indiana

Today, Guardian Angel Hospice celebrates its 15th anniversary. In 2001, a group of hospice professionals calling themselves “The Founding Angels” came together to start a new organization based on the belief that they could offer hospice care on a higher plane than any other resource in Central Indiana.

The group has evolved since that time, but one constant that has remained is the determination to run their organization by the stated values of professionalism, teamwork, stewardship, integrity and service. These values are the guiding force of operations and have been placed at the top of the organizational chart to emphasize their importance.

Guardian Angel Hospice has grown steadily in the number of patients they serve, as well as in the size of their staff and volunteer base to provide those services. They are proud to say they currently employ over 100 of the most highly-qualified staff available in hospice care. They continue to be locally owned and operated, with offices in Kokomo, Logansport, Lafayette and Carmel.

Their focus is to provide outstanding end-of-life care to persons in Central Indiana. Guardian Angel Hospice currently serves 30 counties: Benton, Blackford, Boone, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Fountain, Fulton, Grant, Delaware, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Henry, Howard, Huntington, Madison, Marion, Miami, Montgomery, Parke, Pulaski, Putnam, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Vermillion, Wabash, Warren, Wells and White.

Guardian Angel Hospice thanks all of their current and past employees for their contribution to providing comfort during life’s final moments and to the families that have chosen Guardian Angel to care for their loved ones.
