Carmel ran away from Brebeuf Jesuit in the fourth quarter on Tuesday, as the Greyhounds sailed past the Braves 65-43 in their regular-season finale at the Eric Clark Activity Center.
Carmel outscored Brebeuf in all four periods, leading 16-12 after one and 32-25 at halftime. The Braves were still within 49-41 after three quarters, but the Greyhounds finished strong, outscoring Brebeuf 16-2 in the fourth quarter.
Sam Orme led the way with 22 points, with Spencer White scoring 13 points and Jared Bonds adding 11. White and Orme both collected eight rebounds, with Bonds pulling six, and all three players dished out four assists.
Carmel is 15-7 and will host Sectional 8 next week. The Greyhounds take on Westfield in the first game of the sectional, at 6 p.m. next Tuesday.
